Drawing a crowd!

Children and parents packed into the Library for Malcolm Whittall’s Cartoon Workshop, part of the Summer Reading Challenge activities.  The session was a huge success! The children spent an hour drawing their cartoons under Malcolm’s instruction.

His easy, jokey manner made it a fun time for everyone. The children really concentrated and achieved some great results, even though there was not much space,  and some Mums and Dads joined in too.  We all hope they are inspired to create their own cartoons and enjoy the rest of the summer holiday.

More of the photos taken at the workshop will be on display in the Library shortly.  Thanks to everyone who came along.

Hope to see you at the next workshop which is  . . . . .

STORY TIME with the DOGS TRUST on Tuesday 15th August from 3pm to 4pm.
