Library Lottery

After the very successful ventures in April/May including the Plant Sale and the Mark Evans event it may seem to the village that the Friends of Pontesbury Library are taking a summer break.  Behind the scenes it is not like that all !

The 1st of July is the launch of the Library Lottery and with over 100 members signed up we are off to a brilliant start.  When reading this you may already be too late for the first draw but application forms are still available at the Library.  The more people apply the greater the prize money will become as 50% of the fund will be allocated to PRIZES.  The names of the monthly three winners will be advertised locally and displayed in the Library.

We are also working towards The Friends of Pontesbury Library gaining charitable status and to this end there will be a general meeting in September to propose Trustees and constitution.  Please watch out for further notices and adverts for our autumn events.

    1. A list of members of the Library Lottery Fund has not been published as doing so may be in breach of the Data Protection Act. However, if any body would like to know their number(s) they can email me at and I shall let them know.

      Thanks for all your support.
